Professional Conduct Policy for Mentors and Users
These Community Standards form an integral part of
The Brand Codes – Terms of Use & Services Agreement. All Users and Mentors are required to comply with these Standards to maintain the professional, educational, and collaborative integrity of the platform.
1. Purpose and ScopeThe Brand Codes operates as a professional educational publishing and mentoring platform. It connects Users seeking guidance and knowledge with Mentors and industry professionals. These Standards apply to all individuals who use, access, or contribute to The Brand Codes’ Services. They are designed to ensure a respectful, productive, and legally compliant environment consistent with the
Terms of Use & Services Agreement.
2. Nature of the Platform- Educational Publisher Model: The Brand Codes acts as an educational publisher and facilitator of professional mentoring. Only approved Mentors and guest lecturers may publish, upload, or present content.
- User Participation: Users access the educational and mentoring content but do not publish or distribute content on the platform.
- Professional Orientation: All Users engage for professional purposes, even if they are individuals or sole proprietors, consistent with the business-oriented nature of the Services.
3. Professional Conduct and Integrity- Respect and Civility: Users and Mentors must act respectfully toward one another and all representatives of The Brand Codes. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or defamation are strictly prohibited.
- Truthful Representation: All information provided—personal, business, or financial—must be accurate and not misleading.
- Confidentiality: Users must not share private course materials, mentorship content, or discussions outside the platform unless expressly authorized.
- Intellectual Property: All materials, including videos, slides, and written content, remain the property of The Brand Codes or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction or sharing constitutes infringement.
4. Mentors and Educational Contributors- Mentor Role: Mentors are independent professionals authorized to contribute educational and industry content. Their materials are published by The Brand Codes as part of its professional offerings.
- Representation: Mentors’ statements reflect their expertise and opinions, not the Brand’s endorsement of outcomes or guarantees of results.
- Accuracy and Integrity: Mentors must ensure their educational materials are accurate to the best of their knowledge and compliant with professional ethics.
- Non-Solicitation: Mentors may not use their position to solicit Users outside the platform for unrelated services or personal gain without written authorization.
5. User Responsibilities- Professional Engagement: Users acknowledge that they are accessing educational and mentoring Services in a business capacity.
- Use of Content: Users may use content solely for professional and educational purposes. Redistribution or resale of materials is prohibited.
- Written Claims Requirement: Any claims, disputes, or issues must be submitted in writing to info@thebrandcodes.com. Frivolous, unsanctioned, or bypassed claims—especially those resulting in payment suspension—constitute a breach of the Agreement and these Standards.
6. Prohibited Conduct- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks;
- Defamation or disparagement of Mentors, Users, or the Brand;
- Misuse or unauthorized publication of course content;
- Attempts to bypass the Brand in submitting or escalating disputes;
- False chargebacks or payment holds initiated without written notice to the Brand;
- Unlawful or fraudulent activity of any kind.
7. EnforcementViolations of these Standards may result in disciplinary action, including:
- Temporary or permanent suspension of account access;
- Termination of the Agreement under Clause 11 of the Terms of Use;
- Immediate payment obligations for Services already delivered;
- Legal enforcement under applicable English law and DIFC-LCIA arbitration.
8. Relation to Terms of UseThese Community Standards are part of and incorporated by reference into the
The Brand Codes – Terms of Use & Services Agreement. Failure to comply with these Standards constitutes a breach of the Agreement. Where conflict exists, the Terms of Use shall prevail.
9. AmendmentsThe Brand Codes may amend these Standards periodically to reflect best practices, changes in law, or updates to the Services. All revisions take effect upon publication.
